Being a vegetarian isn't POINTLESS, because you're still saving the lives of some animals. Yes, being vegan is more effective, but it's not an al or nothing process. That's like saying that a vegetarian is doing the same things for animals as an omnivore - not true.
If you care about saving the lives of animals, and actively don’t buy meat, yet buy dairy from an industry that kills male calves because they don’t produce milk, then how much do you really care about animals?
